We all know that leather is not something that you can throw in a washing machine to clean it, unless you want to ruin it of course so what is the best way to clean a leather jacket at home ??
well it depends on the stein and how hard to remove it, in that scenario all you need to do is to give it to the pros and the people who do it for a living without risking damaging your jacket if it is just a normal food stein or you know that the stein is easy to remove
Here’s what you need to do (read this small article from start to finish to not miss a step and ruin your jacket).
What you’ll need :
. a soft sponge or a clean cloth
. spray bottle or a bowl of warm water
. milde soap or baby shampoo or even Mr clean if you are feeling fancy
What to do :
Before we start make sure that the jacket is finished leather because these steps are for finished leather only not suede or nubuck
1- start by mixing the water in the bowl or the spray bottle with the mild soap try not to get too many bubbles in the process
2- using the water and a clean piece of cloth and start to blot (do not rub) the stein you must not wipe because it will only leave a strange-looking mark on the leather, keep on blotting the stein inside out, when you finish let the jacket dry
If the stein is still persistent try doing it with leather wipes. No luck then only the pros can handle it here is a video showing you how to do it
